Hedgerley Lane, Beaconsfield
This period property in the heart of The Old Town, Beaconsfield underwent extensive refurbishment and restoration by numerous different trades.
We were advised by the designers to prepare the kitchen and utility rooms in preparation for the installation of a bespoke handmade kitchen. Initially, the concrete floor was excavated and prepped, including the addition of a Damp Proof Membrane (DPM) followed by pouring of a 5 inch concrete sub floor ready to receive insulation and underfloor heating. Screeding was then poured over the heating pipes to create a smooth finish in preparation for tiling.
A bespoke kitchen including stone worktops were then fitted as well as all appliances installed. Subcontracted electricians installed LED lighting throughout the kitchen and it was subsequently decorated using Farrow and Ball paints.
Bespoke handmade cabinets were crafted by a specialist local joiner and installed on site. These were then finished to coordinate with the rest of the decorating. The existing oak flooring was French polished by a specialist flooring company.
